According To 9to5Mac, The Overhauled camera could enable facial recognition & iris recognition As Well As Used to Add people’s faces into Apps or Games, 9to5Mac reported, citing Kuo’s Research. Kuo said Apple is far ahead of Google’s Android in terms of 3-D Algorithms. The Analyst describes it as Revolutionary.
Trusted analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities – behind many previous accurate Apple leaks – says that the device will have a depth-sensing infrared module on the front.
JPMorgan has also predicted that upcoming iPhones may have a front-facing 3D scanner, which Could Provide Biometric Scans and replace the home button. Gene Munster of Loup Ventures has speculated that Apple is likely working on an augmented reality platform.
It would use an infrared beam to sense the depth and position of nearby objects – and use that information in images.
Multiple reports from respected analysts and industry sources have suggested this year’s iPhone 8 – expected in September, as is traditional from Apple – will be a near-complete Overhauled.
Apple’s latest iPhone, the iPhone 7 Plus, already has pPowerful features that lend themselves to virtual and augmented reality, like Dual Lenses and a new “Portrait” software mode.
